WHAT IS YOUR GLITTER MADE FROM?

When it comes to biodegradable glitter, we understand that you may have some questions. One common question we receive is about the sources of our glitter mixes. Our mixes are sourced from multiple places, but to put it simply, they are all plant-based. This means that our glitter is made from materials such as fermented plant starch from corn, cassava, maize, sugarcane, or sugar beet pulp, as well as rayon (cellulose regenerated), ferric ammonium and Aluminium (The reflective aluminium layer in our glitters has been optimised to be as incredibly thin as possible, over 100 times thinner than a human hair!). We take pride in using environmentally friendly materials that are safe for both you and the planet.

 

HOW ARE THEY BIODEGRABALE?

Biodegradable holographic cosmetic glitter is a type of glitter that can be broken down naturally by microorganisms. This means that it won't harm the environment or contribute to pollution like traditional plastic glitter does. Biodegradable glitter is made from plant-based materials that are sustainable and eco-friendly. When it is disposed of, it will decompose and return to the earth without leaving any harmful residue behind. This makes it a great choice for those who want to enjoy the sparkle and glamour of glitter without harming the planet. WILL THE PACKAGING STILL BE PLASTIC?

At Biolumination, we understand that being environmentally conscious is important to our customers. That's why we've made sure that everything we offer is eco-friendly, reusable, or recyclable. Our vials and pots can be reused or recycled, and our labels are made from biodegradable paper. Even our little refill packets are made from biodegradable materials! Plus, our postage packaging is fully recyclable, so you can feel good about your purchase from start to finish. 

 

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS TESTED ON ANIMALS?

One of the most frequently asked questions we receive is whether our products are tested on animals. We want to assure our customers that we love animals and would never have anything tested on them with our name on it. Our biodegradable glitter is created with the environment and animal welfare in mind, so you can feel good about using it without any guilt. We are committed to providing high-quality products that are both safe for you and the planet, while also being cruelty-free. So rest assured, our glitter is not tested on animals.
